SITOP PSU8200 is Siemens' higher-feature DIN-rail power-supply branch for 24 VDC control systems that need a stronger availability posture, broader monitoring expectations, or a more advanced SITOP supply path than the baseline PSU6200 family. Compared with PSU6200, PSU8200 is usually the better family when diagnostics, reserve behavior, or higher-end cabinet power strategy matter more than keeping the supply branch simple. Compared with UPS1600, it is still a primary regulated supply family, not the backup-energy branch for ride-through events.
